Feb 26, 2024
The paper, titled "Youth-centred participatory action approach towards co-created implementation of socially and physically activating environmental interventions in Africa and Europe: the YoPA project study protocol,"1 presents a novel approach to addressing adolescent health and well-being in urban vulnerable life situations.
The YoPA project aims to tailor, implement, and evaluate social and physical environmental interventions1. This innovative approach engages adolescents and key stakeholders, such as policymakers, urban planners, and community leaders, in local co-creation communities.
This paper is a significant contribution to the field, offering a fresh perspective on how to develop and implement sustainable and effective interventions focused on adolescent health and well-being. Congratulations to Marlene Silva, António Palmeira, and the entire YoPA team for their remarkable work!
