CIDEFES General Meeting Highlights Progress and New Initiatives

May 6, 2024

The CIDEFES held a annual general meeting of members on May 6, 2024. The session was held both online and in-person, with over 40 attendees present to discuss the center's activity plan and annual report.

The CIDEFES community came together to review the achievements of the past year and to set out strategies for future developments.

Project leaders from seven funded initiatives - YoPA, INDEEP, MOVE4FUN, ACTIVUS, Beyond Swimming, PAC-Woman, and APTA - presented summaries of their projects' progress over the past year. These presentations highlighted the range of innovative work being undertaken at CIDEFES and offered a glimpse into the future directions of each project.

This meeting was an opportunity for members to engage in comprehensive discussions about CIDEFES's current research projects. It also provided a platform for sharing ideas on how best to further our mission: promoting interdisciplinary research for societal benefit.

Overall, the general meeting underscored CIDEFES's commitment to fostering innovation through interdisciplinary research. The organization looks forward to another year of substantial contribution to the fields of behavioral sport, physical education, and exercise and health.
