Universidade Lusófona's Faculdade de Educação Física e Desporto and CIDEFES at the 17th European Public Health Conference

We are thrilled to announce the outstanding participation of Universidade Lusófona's Faculdade de Educação Física e Desporto and CIDEFES at the 17th European Public Health Conference, held in Lisbon from November 13-15, 2024. Our dynamic team, consisting of Marlene Silva, Eliana Carraca, Luis Cerca, Hugo Pereira, Sofia Franco, Ines Nobre, Erica Federici, and Vasco Bastos, played a pivotal role in invigorating over 3,000 participants through expertly designed active breaks.

These evidence-based active breaks were not just a testament to our commitment to promoting physical activity and well-being but also a demonstration of how innovative strategies can be seamlessly integrated into large-scale events. Our approach underscored the importance of staying physically active for optimal health and productivity during conferences. The feedback was overwhelmingly positive, with attendees praising the revitalizing effect these sessions had on their conference experience.
