How can biological data help us better understand exercise, health, and human behavior? In this workshop, Professor Anna Prats Puig will introduce participants to the potential of multi-omics approaches for studying the complex links between physical activity, biological mechanisms, and health outcomes.
The session will explore how different layers of biological information, such as genomics, metabolomics, proteomics, and related biomarkers, can be integrated with behavioral and clinical data to generate more comprehensive insights into human health. Particular attention will be given to translational research: how findings from molecular and physiological studies can inform prevention, intervention, and personalized health strategies.
Designed for researchers, students, and professionals interested in exercise science, health, biology, and behavioral research, the workshop will combine conceptual framing with applied discussion, helping participants reflect on how multi-omics perspectives may strengthen current or future research projects.
