Given that the candidates below did not accept the scholarship conditions, we conducted an extra interview with the following candidate, Jason Rodrigues, on 2025-11-11.
The candidate was deemed suitable for the appointment with a total score of 83 points (of 100).

After the interview phase, the results are as follow:

The Interview Board interviewed 2 candidates (one informed us that he will no longer run for the
position) and recommended the following:

That the following candidates are suitable for appointment, in order given,
subject to references being found to be satisfactory, and to other relevant
documentation being provided:

1. Anja Wettstein (scored 91 - MNS and 90 - ALP points in the interview
2. Stuart Wharf (scored 84 - MNS and 73 - ALP points in the interview)
 
The first candidate is to be contacted. If any issues arise during the process of reaching out an agreement, the second candidate will be contacted.

We are pleased to announce the outcome of the recent call for proposals for the INDEEP Doctoral Network.

For this call, we received a total of 21 proposals, showcasing a wealth of talent and innovation among researchers. Each submission was carefully evaluated by our jury, who assessed them against our established selection criteria. We are excited to report that three proposals have been shortlisted for the interview stage, reflecting their strong alignment with our network’s objectives and standards.

While we regret that not all candidates could progress to the next phase, we want to emphasize that every proposal demonstrated remarkable potential and quality. We encourage all applicants to persevere in their research pursuits and remain open to future opportunities within INDEEP or similar programs.
