Uni Wisconsin-Maddison Summer School at Lusofona in June 2024

This June, a cohort of students and teachers from the University of Wisconsin-Maddison swapped their familiar campus for the vibrant surroundings of Lusófona University in Portugal. They attended an enriching summer school program, furthering their international academic experience.
Two esteemed members from CIDEFES, Ana Paulo and António Palmeira, actively participated in the program. Paulo's expertise was channeled into teaching the APTA program. On the other hand, Palmeira led a class on Exercise Motivation using Digital Tools, a subject garnering increasing importance in this digital age.
The interactive classes provided by both professionals offered students an opportunity to delve deeper into these vital areas of study, encouraging them to think beyond traditional boundaries and explore innovative solutions to modern health challenges.
This academic exchange not only enriched the learning experience for the students but also fostered stronger ties between the two universities, paving the way for future collaborations.
