G. Summary  

Water sports can contribute to create added VALUE for sports organizations, businesses, communities and Citizens through the implementation of a holistic model that generates positive impacts in 6 dimensions of the Sustainable Development Process: (1) Sports Development (2) Business Knowledge and Innovation (3) Social (4) Human (5) Environmental (6) Territorial Cohesion.Literacy - education, vocational training, and lifelong learning - is transversal to all these dimensions and it is a powerful tool for the development of organizational, social, personal and professional competences and skills.

A Cooperation Partnership between North Atlantic countries, South Atlantic country, and Balkans's ones will be created in order to form a CoP to tackle climate change, by sharing knowledge, expertise, education and together develop an action plan.

VISION

Water sport clubs (and other sport clubs) and all its elements play a significant role in Water Literacy to tackle Climate Change. By being empowered in water literacy, water sports organization’s human resources will be able to create and develop the position of Blue Sustainability Head in their own organizations to perform actions accordingly.

Objectives

General Objective: Cooperation Partnership among grassroots’ blue sports organizations in Water literacy to fight climate change

Specific Objective 1. Capacitate and empower water sports organisation’s human resources in Sustainability and Water Literacy to tackle climate change, through a lifelong learning framework based on blue water sports and water literacy to create and develop the figure of “Head of Blue Sustainability” in their organisations

Specific Objective 2. Promote education and Increase awareness within human resources of water sports organisations, municipalities, outdoor water

sports tour operators (water sport practitioners or not, and/or in a disadvantaged situation)

Specific Objective 3. Develop a BLUE WATER SPORTS Community of Practice to strength the European relations between sports organizations and stakeholders
