Abstract

This project aims to analyse the impact of high environmental temperature, using non-invasive and time-efficient equipment to assess physical and physiological demands, and the anticipatory judgments of elite female soccer players during a soccer-specific protocol. It will enhance understanding of: how to adjust load in physical and physiological responses to exercise performed in the heat; how players make anticipation judgements in different environments; and how to adjust the competition schedule.
